Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian, is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as a child actor. Her fame was boosted by her appearances on AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from 2020. In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she was kicked out of the school during her second year. She then obtained the GED and graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied the art of improv comedy.
